Dan Baldwin has landed
Published 21 Jan 2010 in News by Ben
We are very excited to announce a new artist to Design Supremo...
Dan Baldwin has never aimed to be from any 'urban' or 'street' background, having studied fine art and illustration, although in 2008 he was featured in Bonhams first 'urban' art auction - gaining a record price for a sale: APOCALYPSE WOW - THE END OF EVERYTHING fitted perfectly within the urban art setting with two huge canvasses comprising of burned US and UK flags, skulls and flowers. The piece sold for more than £25,000.
We have 3 pieces for sale as follows:
Halfway Between The Gates Of Hell And Eden. This mixed media print of silkscreen and giclee was produced to accompany Dan's American show in LA. The paper is torn to the edge of the image.
Evolved is the first of Dans new print works after a long break from printmaking. Vibrant colours and a rich mix of iconic symbols, tell the story of the history of man. This print is mixed media using a frame, gold and silver leaf and varnishes. The paper is torn to the edge of the image.
Ghosts. A beautiful print in a run of 95 to enable the price to be more affordable. This print uses gold leaf and silkscreen varnishes.
